To individuals who have applied for the CEEP, no decision as been made on who will be hired to date. However, the program will begin on Monday, Nov 25 and a meeting will be held today to determine participants. you will be notified tomorrow if you were successful.

NOTICE FROM DORIS RANDELL, TOWN OF ENGLEE
THE TOWN OF ENGLEE IS ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR 8 PARTICIPANTS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 55-64 UNDER THE
TARGETED INITIATIVE FOR OLDER WORKERS,
THE PROGRAM PENDING FUNDING APPROVAL WILL BE FOR A PERIOD OF 18 WEEKS, 9 OF WHICH WILL NOT BE INSURABLE AND 9 WILL BE INSURABLE.
PERSONS WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE 2009-2010 TIOW WILL NOT QUALIFY TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM.
THE PROGRAM WILL TRAIN PEOPLE TO PRODUCE
GLASS ART.

People from anywhere in the area are free to apply for this program. As it says in the ad there are spaces for only 8 people but that does not stop you from putting in a resume if you are interested. Just to make sure that people are under no illusions this is not a make work program but a program to train people to make glass products. Also, the first 9 weeks are not insurable . Only the last 9 weeks will be insurable. Looking forward to seeing what kind of interest there is out there. Unfortunately people who participated in the previous TIOW are ineligible to participate in this one. Have a good day all!
