BOIL ORDER

A reminder to residents that boil orders are still in effect for Roddickton and Bide Arm areas.

The boil order for Roddickton will be in place for an extended period of time due to electrical upgrades at the pump house.

The town is looking to hire a person for 5 hours per week (preferably Fridays) to clean the Bide Arm Fire Hall and the Gerry Byrne Room/Arena. Any interested person(s) can submit a resume in person at the Green Moose Interpretation Centre during business hours or email roddickton@nf.aibn.com. Deadline is Tuesday, May 29, 2018.

Public Notice

Major’s Street from Foodland to the Harbour Drive/Major’s Street intersection will be closed to complete repairs. The closure will be effective Monday, May 7 at 9:00 am and Tuesday, May 8. Please respect the road closures and use an alternate route.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the ice breaker was not able to do the breakout on Friday. The ice breaker will be in Roddickton on TUESDAY, MAY 1, 2018!

The deadline to receive a 10% discount for residents and 5% for business on eligible taxes is Monday, April 30, 2018.
