#findyourfallfit

Come on Roddickton-Bide Arm residents, lets post those pictures and show others we are an active community!

Message from Recreation NL

The days are getting shorter and the weather is getting chillier, but everyone can still stay active through these months!

Recreation NL is proud to introduce our six week Find You Fit Social Media Campaign:

Find Your Fall Fit!

Over the next six weeks we want, with your help, to encourage the people of Newfoundland and Labrador to stay active. We want to inspire people to find their individual fit with posts of activities that everyone can participate in!

This campaign is taking place across Recreation NL’s Facebook and Twitter, using the hashtag #findyourfallfit. We’re encouraging all residents from every corner of the province to take photos of themselves being active to be entered to win weekly prizes!

Each week we will be awarding prizes

• Individual prizes for photos of individuals

• Buddy prizes for a photo of a pair being active together

• A group prize for an organization, group or company taking part in the fun.

These weekly prizes will be selected at random.

So spread the word, get involved. This is week one, so there is no time like the present to encourage your community or group to #findyourfallfit!

For more detailed information, keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter, and visit our website: Find Your Fall Fit. To find ideas, visit our resources page.

Scotiabank Meeting

Scotiabank is holding a public meeting TONIGHT, Monday, September 24, 6:30 pm at the Gerry Byrne Room.

The Town encourages all residents, and residents of surrounding communities to please come.

Please share and inform your neighbours.

Bank Closure

There’s a public meeting happening September 24th (details of time and location will be posted). We need everyone to come out from our Town and surroundings Towns to express our disagreement! This decision to close the one and only bank we have will impact everyone on the Northeast side of the GNP … the power is in numbers ~ we can’t let this happen!

Contact Scotiabank for more information and to voice your concerns as well, 1-800-700-0043.
