Mayor Sheila Fitzgerald will be talking about Harrison Centre Report and future challenges of living on the Northern Peninsula given the rapidly declining population. As small towns across this province we cannot stand alone any more – we need a collaborative effort /approach – it’s time to be reminded of our core values and our roots where everyone helps each other … And it’s one for all – and all for one!”

Regular Council Meetings are scheduled for the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month starting Nov 16, 16.

The Town of Roddickton-Bide Arm is requesting quotes to replace the lighting over the ice surface in the arena.

The quote should include the following:
1. Removal and disposal of existing (30) 400 watt Metal Halide light fixtures over the ice surface area.
2. Supply and install (30) new LED Light Fixtures in the same locations as the existing lights. Include all necessary wiring, connectors and attachment accessories required to install the new LED Light Fixtures.
3. New LED light Fixtures are to be installed with wire guards.
4. Include all costs to perform work such as scaffolding rentals, materials and labor in quote.
5. Work to be completed this calendar year before the installation of the ice sheet this season.
